Hi all!
I have a question about MECCG and I need your help. How do Unabated in Malice and Troll-purse interact?
My company enters a site with an Unabated in Malice and a Troll-purse played on-guard. I cancel the Unabated and my company facing successfully the automatic attack. After playing an item, when I face the Troll-purse attack, the Unabated effect is still active?

I have found the following entry in CoE Digest #103 but I do not know if I should solve it in same way:
“How do Unabated in Malice and Tidings of Bold Spies interact?
***Given that Unabated in Malice is played and resolved on the automatic-attack in question when Tidings of Bold Spies resolves, then all effects of Unabated in Malice will be duplicated, per the text of Tidings of Bold Spies, including the cancellation clause of Unabated in Malice.”
This is correct. To further clarify, if Unabated in Malice is cancelled during the Tidings of Bold Spies attack, its full effects are still in play, and will be applied to the actual automatic-attack during the Site Phase

Troll-purse does not copy AAs. It causes a facing it/them again.
This means that all modifications already applied to the AAs are still in force and the AAs will be additionally modified by +3 prowess from Troll-purse*.
This also means that if action "cancel" has been applied earlier to one of the AAs modified by Unabated in Malice, the modification from the card is already gone, according to text of the card.

*) If a effects that would modify AAs, such as Redoubled Forces, Wizard's Flame, Bitter Cold are in play/active when AAs are faced again, they will be applied again to the AAs.
We will not speak of such things even in the morning of the Shire.
