Scoured the forums and haven't found an answer to this probably obvious question: can a Fallen Wizard (or a FW company etc) move directly from a fallen-wizard haven to the corresponding hero/minion ruins & lairs site (White Towers, Isengard, etc)? If possible, does this presumably require a turn of movement (through 1 region) as opposed being able to switch the site with an instantaneous exchange? Thanks all!

It is neither allowed nor disallowed by rule, so far as I know. Traditionally, it has not been allowed; one must move to another site and then move back, either by waiting a turn or through the use of movement enhancers.
The game is flawed, but this does not mean it cannot be loved.

Because such movement would require a playing of other version of a site, the rule precludes such possibility.
However I do not know a rule that generally prohibits a moving from a site to the same site.
Knowledge about existence of such rule is important due to cards like Chance of Being Lost.
We will not speak of such things even in the morning of the Shire.

Interesting, I was going off the White Hand rulebook but sounds like that CRF ruling clears things up in the negative. Thanks both!

If any version of a site is in play or in your discard pile, you may not play another version of that site.
Wow. This rule, as written, means that if my opponent has the minion version of White Towers in play, I as a FW can move to neither Hero White Towers nor FW White Towers. Never thought of that . . . :)

Good point.
If Plotting Ruin, or Heart Grow Cold is not in play, minion companies not at [-me_rl-] are relatively safe from attacks of FW covert companies, or from influence attempts made by characters in covert FW company.

I put this topic to the NetRep discussion forum as a reminder if there will be an active NetRep team in the near future again.

I once had a dream that such a thing would be possible. :)
