your opponent has in play. You may also reveal any marshalling point cards in your hand that are manifestations of
cards that your opponent has in play. Each such revealed card reduces your opponent's marshalling point total by one.
Stored cards are not considered to be in play (except for purpose of uniqueness). The same for eliminated cards in Marshalling Points pile.
Proposed regulation (to be added to CRF, Turn Sequence, End-of-Game):
"Player may reveal any unique marshalling point card or (if appropriate) marshalling point manifestation that matches a card giving his opponent marshalling points."

Do you think it was intentional or just that it's in need of rebalancing?
Stored item safety and strategies are discussed in the Dark Minions Players Guide.

I think that the proposal reflects original intention.
Unlike original rule it covers MPs for cards not in play, and does not cover MPs from cards in play that are MP cards by themselves, but do not give MPs to their players. As all hazards that are MPs cards.
EDIT:
"give MPs" -> "are MPs cards"

I get the impression that the MP-revealing rule was intentional in excluding stored MPs, or at least this was known and considered when creating MEDM.

Sadly it also includes MP cards that a player has in play and that do not give him (nor anyone) MPs.
