I'm sorry if this is an obvious question, but can a character tap to give my Wizard a +1 to his corruption checks?

I rolled snake-eyes the other day at the Free Council, and Saruman went corrupt (go figure)! But that was before we were even aware that tapping for +1 was even a rule for any characters.

Is a Wizard a "character" in this case? Or can you only tap for non-Wizards to aid with corruption checks?

Thanks in advance!

Yes. As long the character is in the same company as your Wizard.

P.S.
Wrong sub-forum.
We will not speak of such things even in the morning of the Shire.
