I've updated the schedule in the original post above. Please have a look and let me know if there are any problems.

I have not been active with MECCG for more than 6 years, so I do not know any players anymore. I am looking forward to playing the formats where you do not need a pre-built deck and perhaps some games in between. Being so out-of-practice, I do not want to join the main event (facing Fallen etc, which I didn't really have experience with even years ago.

Could you help me recompleting my play-set of cards or get me into contact with someone who can? I used to have 2 complete sets of hero sites, to play at home with someone. A few years ago someone stole one of them at a small tournament in a game shop. I had most cards several times, but I am missing these cards:
Beorn's House
Iron Hill Dwarf-hold
Dunharrow
Vale of Erech
Raider-hold
Isles of the Dead that Live
the Stones
Tolfalas
Shelob's Lair
Barad-Dur
Carn Dum
Cirith Ungol
Minas Morgul
the Under-Galleries
the Under-Courts
the Iron-Deeps
languages: english, dutch or german UL or limited, I do not really care

I do not want to spend money on buying cards again and do not have a clear idea of which cards I have for trade. However, I can offer a few of these signed cards if someone is interested:
And Forth he Hastened (Donato Giancola)
Stormcrow (John Howe)
Woses of the Druadan Forest and Druadan Forest (Edward Beard Jr.)
Wizard's River-horses (Rob Alexander)
minion Grey Havens (Ted Nasmith)
Pocketed Robes (Liz Danforth)

Hi Leon.
We are two French players who will attend but not join the main event. So we could play casual, Arda, anything preconstructed. You will not be alone!

Regarding the sites, I might be able to find some of the ones you are looking for. I will bring them.

Cheers.

Mark Alfano will bring his spare sites, so I think it is solved.

But if you also have some, I am grateful. It is good to know that there are more players around for casual games.

Looking forward to seeing you geezers in the Netherlands!

I'll bring ARDA as well for non-stop casual gaming.

greetings all participants of Worlds 2018 in Heemskerk, at the Assumburg castle

Currently 19 players have confirmed they will be attending the weekend, and some will bring family or partner (another 4 people).
Not all will be staying the full 3 days, and not all will want to play in the main General Opponent event.

This need not matter too much, as for the first time in history, we will also crown an overall World Champion!

The best 3 results of any tournament a player takes part in will be added up, and the lowest score takes home the trophy!
for trophies, see added pics, the winner gets a unique playmat, designed for the occasion.

In the original post you find the tournaments we intend to host.
However, since not everybody can be present the full weekend, please post below or send me a pm or email stating which tournament you intend to take part in. Depending on your preferences, we might adapt the schedule. The GO qualifier and finals are fixed for saturday and sunday of course.

c.u. soon at the castle
Eric & Mark

to set the correct example, I (Eric) intend to play:

GO semi-final
Hamburger
Dreamcards (or GO finals)
Hero 1-deck

and some Arda/casual gaming of course.

nb. there IS a price for the best Arda gamer of the weekend (see up), but Arda results are NOT taken into account for the Overall Championship.
