Hi everyone,

I changed my PC and i have now OS Debian Jessie (8.6).
I'm trying to install GCCG in a Terminal.
I done the command explained in the GCCG internet site / GNU Linux Installation : http://gccg.sourceforge.net/
But i couldn't load the game Metw ... :(

I'm a very newbie in the Terminal & Linux World ! ;)

If someone can help me, I would be grateful.

P.S. : Sorry for my bad English ! ;)

Hello everyone

I tried another solution to install GCCG on my computer with Debian Jessie.
I first installed the "subversion" package. Then, after creating the folder "gccg" in the "home" directory, I downloaded the two repositories "core" and "metw".

I can now launch the software. But I can not connect to the server.

I have the following error message:
"Connecting to gccg.councilofelrond.org port 29130
Connection failed
Working offline "

I however modify the file "Metw" to change "% USER%" by my usual nickname "iGogol".

Does anyone have an idea to solve my connection problem?

Thank you in advance !

P.S.: "Google Translate" translation of French

Hi,

I changed the server address "gccg.councilofelrond.org" by "199.91.172.122" in the "Metw" file.
It's now ok.
