Idea: ventrilo server for gccg?

Hi, wouldn't it be a great idea to set up a Ventrilo-server for gccg? I'm just dropping the idea here, check out Ventrilo here:
http://www.ventrilo.com/

This program sets up sort of a "chatbox" for use with voice-over-internet-protocol. It's like Skype, but easier and the channel is open for everyone. You can have several channels on one ip:port-adress. It's extremely easy to use! Basically you assign a 'push-to-talk-button' and have Ventrilo run in the background. Now, when you press that button you can talk to everyone that's logged into the same channel as you! Great for general talk, but you can also go to a less busy channel (say when you sit down at a gccg-table).

For clarity, I'm not offering to do this myself (as I have no idea how to and am not immersed enough in the gccg-scene), but maybe someone else might pick this idea up and roll with it! I'm sure it will bring the gccg-people together more than writing only can do.

Why not using a free software like Mumble?

I agree. But I do believe Ventrilo is free also.
