Apart from the regular releases there were several special boxes in which cards were sold. I think that was mostly due to the fact that the game didn't sell as well as anticipated. My impression was that these additional boxes were sometimes more aimed at targeting non-CCG players or, at the stage when the licence was about to end, simply a try to get rid of as many as cards as possible and selling them to any Tolkien-interested people.

I'll be making a list of the various products (to be continued in the following days)

This box consisted of 2 METW starters, 4 boosters and a bit of additional material: 2 dice (cannot recall if red or grey) along with a map, a rulesbook, a card list (TW, DM) a One Ring cardboard counter and a flyer on various boardgames by Queen.

This box was essentially the same as the one above. Only it was called "limited". When it first showed up in the shops, I had the idea it was not really a rarer thing than the Bilbo box. Anyway, I do think now there were fewer boxes of this type than of the Bilbo type.

The Bilbo box was later on also used to contain the (first) complete set of the German MEAS set. Additionally to the regular contents (see above), a set of 1 of each of the MEAS cards was added. An alternative and very limited version with 1 copy of each of the unique and 3 of each of the non-unique cards was available, too.
The box had an extra paper cover wrapped around it to declare it was the MEAS set. (the extra limited version had the same wrapping). Inside the wrapping the German translation of the MEAS rules (i. e. the small leaflet to be found in English boosters) was printed along with an order form to apply for the German set to the then still planned to be released MEWH (German).

For completeness´ sake: the height of the 2 Bilbo boxes is different. I think the "MEAS" box is the one of less height (same as the 3 boxes that Christoph hasnt introduced yet), while the original Bilbo box has the same dimensions as the Eye box.

Interesting. All Bilbo boxes I bought were of the same height and equalled that of the Eye box.

It's true, however, that the booster boxes (to be presented soon/see below...) were somewhat flatter than the ones of Bilbo/Eye.

Let's go ahead... Queen Games issued 3 boxes with 3 special promos each. At that time, buying the boxes was the only (and, of course, expensive) way to get these promos. Though fairly equipped with boosters, the few DM boosters shows which edition Queen Games was least in stock. Also included was a card list booklet (see above), comprising the editions of TW, TD and DM.

As Thorondor has already pointed out, the height of these boxes was somewhat smaller than that of the "higher" Bilbo boxes. This made them unsuitable for keeping sleeved decks inside, as the regular (thin) sleeves would slightly stand out.
