A company is at Eagles’ eyrie.
Opponent plays Siege.
What happens if I play eagle mounts during the org phase?

1. Eagle mounts will work only if the siege roll is successful
Or
2. Eagle mounts overrides siege as, whilst siege prevents movement, eagle mounts reads “may move to any site …”.

2 would be thematically very cool but I am not sure at all that it works.

I doubt whether Eagle-mounts may be even played if affected company is under effect that prevents it from moving, e.g. result a roll from Siege, or Shifter of Hues.

There is room for doubt, here.

The roll for Siege must happen at the end of the organization phase.
Eagle-Mounts must also be played at the end of the organization phase.

It would be valid to play Eagle-Mounts before performing the roll for Siege, since both activities are to occur at the end of the phase, I think.

In that case, the Siege roll would then either allow or disable the movement permitted by Eagle-Mounts.
