Doubled Vigilance wrote:Playable on a Shadow-hold [-me_sh-] (or on a Ruins & Lairs [-me_rl-] or Border-hold [-me_bh-] if Doors of Night is in play). If the company chooses to enter the site, it must make a roll (draw a #) and subtract its company size. If the result is greater than 6, the company may enter the site as normal. Otherwise, the company must face an attack to be resolved before any automatic-attacks: Orcs-4 strikes at 9 prowess. Discard when the site card is discarded or returned to its location deck.
The attack from Doubled Vigilance is not AA. A company may not play any resources until it will face all AAs, unless a resource directly affects AA, or is playable during strike sequence.

So a company must face the attack from Doubled Vigilance completely passively.
Right?

Unless the implication of "enter the site as normal. Otherwise" is that the attack that happens is a process outside of the normal one for entering a site, in which case, the rule may be suspended. This, however, becomes awkward, because it would theoretically allow any resources to be played.

I think you're correct.

Well... "or is playable during strike sequence" would mean it needn't be completely passive. Second Darkness Wielded cancel would work too... if "latter" meant "later".

Which rules are we referring to? I know of this one:
CRF Site Phase wrote:A company may not play any resource during the site phase until they have faced all automatic-attacks, unless that resource directly affects an automatic-attack. Removing an automatic-attack does not directly affect it, although cancelling does. (Emphasis added)
This doesn't seem to allow for concealment or ridiculous blow (I'll leave this typo in) to be played.

Though, I am wondering how a company would "remove" an automatic attack (instead of cancelling it). There must be some way to do this since the rule was created...

You could play Marvel's Told to discard a long/permanent even that created automatic attacks (thereby removing them). But is Marvels Told played "by a company"? And would that depend on whether the trailing Sage is in the company or not?

I think that any activity of member of company counts as an activity of the company.
Collectively a members of company are moving and attacking.

If it comes to Marvels Told and Voices of Malice:
CRF wrote:May be played during the site phase by a character in another company, as if he were
in the company resolving their site phase.
that make me wonder whether other company that already entered site may make anything during other company's site phase.
E.g. use the Palantir of Osgiliath to remove event that creates AA that a company resolving its site phase must face.
