Hi everyone,

Trying to get my head around this card, in terms of what prowess/body penalties will apply to the additional strikes faced.

I'll use an example of a 6/9 warrior character.

If the character taps to face a 3 strike attack, plays MFHF and chooses to face all the strikes, will the prowess/body penalties be as follows:

first strike 6/9 (no penalties)
second strike 4/8 (-1 prowess and body from MFHF, -1 prowess from being tapped facing a strike)
third strike 3/7 (-2 prowess and body from MFHF, -1 prowess from being tapped facing a strike)

or does the card make it that there is not the usual -1 to prowess for being tapped, making it:

first strike 6/9 (no penalties)
second strike 5/8 (-1 prowess and body from MFHF)
third strike 4/7 (-2 prowess and body from MFHF)

thanks!

If defender chooses a warrior to be the target of a strike from an attack, that character may choose to face any number of the strikes from that attack. The character suffers a cumulative -1 prowess/-1 body for each additional strike faced. The character faces a separate strike sequence for each strike.
For each strike, you go through a strike sequence. The tapped/untapped/wounded state of the character and relevant penalty is assessed then.

So assuming you've chosen your warrior to be the target of a strike, you then allow your warrior to be the target of two more strikes.

1st Strike: Warrior is untapped, and may choose to tap or take the -3 penalty.
2nd Strike: Warrior is whatever state he is in, depending on the result of the previous strike, with the appropriate penalty, if any. Also -1/-1 from the card.
3rd Strike: Same as second for state, with -2/-2 from the card.
