Tried looking in various rules about making a choice not to move at a current site. If I choose to stay where I am. What possible options do I have? (could I play more items? do I get more site attacks?).

Just learning the rules (from various sources) - any help is much appreciated

First and foremost.... welcome to our forums and thanks for joining!! :D

To answer:

If you choose to remain at your present site (and not move) you can then re-enter the site. In order to do anything during the site phase, you must enter the site and face any automatic attacks (even if you already faced them on a previous turn).

If the site is untapped, you may play items/allies/factions, etc normally. If the site is tapped, you may play any resources which are allowed to be played at a tapped site or which do not require tapping of a site (Barrow Blade, etc.)

Hope this answer helps and please post again if you have any further questions!

After facing automatic attacks, the full rules additionally allow the option of making an influence attempt against an opponent's characters/items/allies/factions, or initiating company-vs-company combat depending on the opponent.
