Using the tournament convention of revealing characters one at a time to create your starting company:

May I place an unused character from my starting pool (who does not make a member of my starting company) into my Sideboard?

ie. I have a character I normally place in my sideboard, but I would still like to have him available for my starting pool of characters using the tournament convention in case one of my other starting characters gets bounced. Is this allowed?

nope by official rules they go to deck or out of play. the sb is just an option for dream card games
