I am just been checking all the rules, but I cannot find a reason why an overt FW companies cannot use Biter and Beater! for an orc attack cvcc to full effect?
Sure there is something I am missing here?!
I am aware I need a DC to allow my orc to use these weapons, but there are ways for that, question do the bearer of these weapons get the bonus from B&B! even without the Origins Revealed (DC)

Biter and Beater! can be played on overt FW company.
Hero permanent-event cannot be played on company with Orc, or with Troll (overtness of the company is not an obstacle).

It might have fallen through the cracks.
A hero resource may not target an Orc or Troll character
However, B & B is played on a company. I don't think, according to the rules, that there's anything like a <race> company, and even if there were, such are not forbidden from being targeted by FW resource rules.A card that is played on a card continuously targets the card it is on
The game is flawed, but this does not mean it cannot be loved.
