By the way, was the original post trying to suggest that when you play Ancient Deep-hold you can select FW Deep-mines as the adjacent site???
I find that it helps to actually play the card to see how it works, or in this case why it doesn't.
Deep Mines/Ancient Deep-Hold connectivity
Care to explain your deductive process? It seems like a valid concern to me.

not sure Theo will get that one Chris
I think I got it. His answer is No. And my guess was apparently not helpful. Ah well, so much for whatever point he was trying to make.

Note that you are still failing to explain your deductive process. I would rather not guess again about what it might be, as it is not my interest to design faulty deduction and attribute it to others. "Good morning!"

Is that the same as you asking me to set up the situation? Ok... no big mysteries here.
1) Opponent has Deep Mines in play, let's say connected to Isengard.
2) During my organization phase, I play a character with home site Dark-hold at Ancient Deep-hold.
3) When I play the Ancient Deep-hold, I choose the Isengard Deep Mines as the adjacent site.
That done, would you now care to share why you you think this doesn't this work?

Wait I think I got it. You choose... your opponent's copy of Deep Mines... as your site's adjacent site... so that you can move to it... as the adjacent site... so that your opponent gains control of the orc....... and you get to borrow SP from all their Deep Mines... and profit?
At this point I'm pretty convinced that you don't understand what "why it doesn't work" means, and you in fact have continued to avoid giving your deductive process because you... don't have one.

What doesn't work about what I explained? I will underline YOUR additions:
Again, care to explain YOUR reasoning? Delusional?CDavis7M wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 8:29 pm Wait I think I got it. I can think of taking a prisoner of the FW there. I'm not familiar enough with Balrog to know what resource options might be there. But some players play for style, not competitive options. One style might be to put the game into a situation to ensure an ongoing rule debate. Actually, for competitive play, maybe this could be a good way to stall without making it look like you're stalling?
