bow of alatar wrote:Unique. Alatar specific. Place this card on Alatar if he is in play. If on Alatar, you may tap Bow of Alatar to allow him to face a strike from an attack against his company regardless of the attack's normal capabilities and his status. If such a strike fails, the attack's body is reduced by 1.
bolds are mine.

What happens in the case that Alatar taps bow to face the first strike of an assassin? Since assassin card says that 3 attacks has to be against the same character i guess that alatar faces them, but since bow says that it works for 1 strike, it creates a little confusion...

Does alatar face the 3 attacks or just 1 and 2 the character that opponent has chosen at the first time?

Can anyone clarify this please?

In my opinion, if one attack of the Assassin has to go against a character, so do all the attacks. Assassin's card text does not allow for the attacks to be faced by different characters.

I remember a confusing situation quite similar where Alatar used his special ability on an assassin attack. Would be really nice having a concrete answer to it...
