I realize I'm opening a can of worms here looking back at previous topics on this card, but I haven't seen this point addressed specifically.
1) CRF states that Doubled Vigilance can be revealed on-guard. This seems to be accepted as a quasi-errata. (Let's just take this one at face value, I'm not trying to litigate on whether this CRF ruling should have been issued or not)
2) The attack on Doubled Vigilance is not an automatic attack / does not affect automatic attacks, and is not a creature.
Does revealing Doubled Vigilance on-guard still require the "If the site has one or more automatic-attacks..." clause of revealing an on-guard card upon site entry (which usually applies to revealing a creature or a card that affects the automatic attacks), or could it be revealed at a site without automatic attacks?
Doubled Vigilance - needs an automatic attack on-guard?

The "If the site has one or more automatic-attacks..." clause only applies to creature cards and to the cards that affect an automatic-attack.
On-guard card may be also revealed according to condition "the company plays a card that potentially taps the site", or to special conditions listed in text of the on-guard card.
CRF entry for Doubled Vigilance belongs to the last category. Surely it is not an inference from existing rules.

We will not speak of such things even in the morning of the Shire.
