Why did you do a new verson of reforging?
is there anything wrong?
I don't get it...
At least you don't have to do a new reforging to redo narsil.
So what?

It's meant to be used with the German Promo Items.

Original Reforging wrote:Sage only during the site phase at an untapped site where "Information" is playable. Tap the sage and the site. Sage may not untap until Reforging is stored at a Haven [H]. During your organization phase, you may tap a sage at a Haven and discard a stored Reforging to retrieve any minor or major weapon, armor, or shield from your discard pile. The item must be placed under the control of a character in the sage's company.
The German Promo items give extra bonuses when placed with a stored Reforging. The difficulty involved is that storing a Reforging is often not worth it -- it's a turn to go get it, you've got to keep a sage tapped, and then there's at least a turn for the return trip. Too many wasted turns and a perma-tapped sage means that the original Reforging sees little use. Far Sight is much better for retrieving items as the blown turn count is lower.Sage only at a site where “Information” is playable. Tap the sage and site. If you have an item in any company that can be ‘restored,’ (e.g., Belegennon) you may place this card with that item during your organization phase as if Reforging was already stored. Gives 1 MP on a restored item.
The virtual version does not keep the sage tapped and eliminates the need to go to a haven and store it. This makes the card more efficient and makes its use in a German Promo deck much more practical.

But it even affects Narsil and Anduril in the same way????
and why did we need a new anduril then?
was it still that bad then?

Narsil and Anduril are not affected. The German Promo cards all have a "restore" keyword that is lacking on the text of Narsil/Anduril.
The Virtual Anduril still requires that Reforging be stored as well as Anduril.
The Virtual Anduril does not keep the sage tapped, and allows you to search for Narsil in your deck, thus helping deck flow/vulnerability concerns. It is still, however, far easier to use Reforging on a German Promo item than the Anduril/Narsil combo, which is for the best.

The new Reforging is better in that it does not keep a Sage tapped until stored. It also smooths deck flow in a German Promo deck.
It also is better in an Anduril deck because not forcing a Sage to stay tapped until stored means that you can use a sage to get both Reforgin and Anduril before going back to the haven to store them, saving you two turns.
