INFORMATION
Cave-drake has the keyword Dragon in its card text. Despite the fact that the card name suggests that it is a drake and not a dragon ICE never issued an erratum for this card.

BALLOT ITEM # 24:
Are you in favor of issuing the following erratum?

CAVE-DRAKE
Change This:
Dragon. Two strikes. Attacker chooses defending characters.
To This:
Drake. Two strikes. Attacker chooses defending characters.

CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR VOTE:
If you vote YES, then you vote for theme (a drake is a drake - not a dragon), and you accept that the use of dragon specific hazard events will decrease.

If you vote NO, then nothing will change and you vote for a (maybe unintended by ICE) variety in game play where dragon specific hazard events will see more play.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
- This is a "Status Quo" ballot item. The status quo is represented by a NO vote.
- The creature type Drake was introduced after the release of METW in the METD expansion. ICE had the chance, however, to change it from dragon to drake with the release of MELE but didn't do so. They may have overlooked this one but they may also have realized that hazard cards from METD that are playable only on dragons see very little play. This is because the other (unique) dragons are quite hard to play and ususally the hazard limit is not high enough to make both dragons more playable (e.g. through Dragon's Desolation) and play those other special "dragon hazard events" (which do count against the hazard limit). Cave-drake is not that hard to play and not unique.
