I think there is one big thing the game realy needs...
some new minor iteams...
some that are worth playing them.

I think we should make some new card textes for the hoard minor iteams, to make them more playable.
As they are now. They are totaly useless...
at least I have never seen anybody play them.

what do you think?
should we make some new minor iteams?
esspecialy for the horad ones???

Minor Items are extremely good with the Virtual Cup Of Farewell. I threw together a Hero Alatar deck that stores three Elven Ropes, plays Emerald of Doriath and Three Elf-stones, and recycles Cram as necessary -- all without any characters tapping. Many minor items come into their own with the Virtual Cup of Farewell.

because as you m entioned there are only very few choices of Minor iteams....

Most of the minor items actually have good abilities. The problem was that it was often not worth taking up deck space for them. What I would suggest is a toned-down version of Cup of Farewell for minions. Toned-down because minion minor items tend on average to be better than hero minor items.

and they allready have a good way to play Minor iteams form sideboard...

don't know how it is called... but there are two events that allow you to play minor iteams from sideboard or discard. up to three at spezific sites... by taping characters in the site phase.
I play that for example in one of my minion decks....!!

maybe make a hero version of those!!!

There are very few lame hero minor items. Cram, Elf-stone, Daggers, Emerald, Healing Herbs, Thror's Map, Shield, Arrows, etc. all have worthwhile and useful effects. It's getting them into play that's the problem.

Swag and Thing Stolen (the minion resources which allow minor item play) look good on paper, but in trying to make a deck which makes effective use of them, I've generally stumbled. Does anybody have any experience with the utility of these cards?

Which cards? The hero minor items I listed or the Minion Short-Events? Or both?

Then how about:

Thing Stolen:
Permanent Event
You may tap this card and a character if all strikes from a detainment attack against his company failed to place a minor item from your sideboard with any character in the company.

Sideboard and not discard, because we don't want squatting Sulfur-Deepers recycling Cram.
