Sad news indeed. I often think how lucky we are to have has Christopher Tolkien be so involved, before and especially after his father's death. Without him, we would not have MECCG as we know it.

Sad indeed. I had to pause when I read the news.

Today, I had an itch. What happened in Middle-earth on January 15th; yes I know the calendars are out of whack.
PS. Something happened on a bridge that day. Wow!

I am one of the few that read all 12 histories of Middle-Earth. There had to be a passion
to write those books for much was repeated in the versions and to decipher the order of corrections.
Good to fix any sleeping problem too.
