Hey finalists,
why dont you post your appointments here? So people who like to watch can bring their kids to bed in time, get some chips and a six pack of beer! :D

It seems like we'll have another exciting final game on Nations Cup. Trossell scored 7-0 for Finland yesterday, but Spain responded with a 6-0 :D

I heard Mikko yesterday saying something about him not needing to play his game and conceding 6 TPs to kike because they would have already won after the game this morning... sorry Mikko, but you will have to play :P

And in the 3rd 4th place match its exciting as well. Brian massacred marcos for a 6-0 lead, but Bert took on Charles to even the scores 6-6.

Mark and Kris will decide the outcome here.

Mark beat Kris 4-2 to net USA 3th place.

And a tournament report from Nations Cup.

I chose minion to play with, and elected vs hero/FW Mikko's infamous Troll Botanist. Vs minions I picked the hog, Ugluk Shagrat Buth start to burn down, while the shadow does its trick.

Round 1 Poland: hero hobbits with snowstorm.

In short snowstorm held me at bay (should have forseen it) while is cheezy hobbits did their trick for a 4-2 loss. I get to understand why Dam hates hobbits with a passion.

Round 2 Finland: Unexpected party in Dragonland with grab bag.

Here the turning point was Thrain with Risky Blow and Dwarves are upon misisng a roll of 4, and then being killed. He had some luck to get back to 4-2, but stil a win for me.

Round 3 Austria: Underdeeps darkhold touring.

Here I saw doors, and when he went down from Dol I ran to the rohan area. BEing in just border and free I could cruise to grab points, while Heedless and Adunaphel prevented massive itemplaying down deep. After ending up roughly at the same points, it became a nerve game, in which I managed after 4 turns in the leas to get the axe and goblins of goblin gate to get a decisive lead and net another 4-2.

Semis Spain: FW Rada wolfies Short rest.

I did my thing, but couldnt really stop him, since he decided to squat, and I couldnt abuse short rest anymore. He did fairly good, but lost a cc on the council to make it a mere 5-1 (I missed allies).

Little final: USA Dragonland minion style.

This is the game that made me buy wigy a crate of beer if I ever see him... I made around 90% of my rolls, where charles had no luck at all. Even rolls where Heedless tapped a Lt. In the end it was 16-29, but Gorbga was alone with a balanc eout, and he decided to run off. SO 6-0 for me.

Props:
Good and sportive opponents.
Funny remarks.
More Mikko-bashing ;)

Slops:
Hobbits
Snowstorm
Cheezy Radagast

Maybe I should play cheezy too next time....
