Do players wear their national colors (like in nations cup) to indicate that this is a tournament game where peeking is forbidden? To be honest I dont exactly recall all the 20 players.

That seems like a good idea. On the other hand, it's not like half the participants haven't seen me practicing with my deck in the past two weeks. :)

Okay, so please post your decklist. It is not fair if only half of the people know your deck. ;)

Sounds fair to use flags. People usually know somethign special is on when people wear flags.

I'm kind of busy with a tournament at the moment, but I should be able to find some time to post it after the tournament's over. :)

I find it as a good idea: this way even the "more active" of the two players is pushed to report the lack of responsiveness by the designed opponent. This emphasizes the organizer's role in urging the players to respect the fixed deadlines and prevents unhappy episodes that we had in the past editions of the Nations Cup, which basically arose out of misunderstandings and lack of communication. When communication is incited by the threat of a 0-0, the game is more likely to be played :wink: (or to be solved within the fixed deadline but on forfeit, which can be a painful though necessary extrema ratio). I really appreciate this measure from Bert.

As far as I'm concerned, I'll report to the organizer if my opponent doesn't respond within 24 hours to my first email.

But I'm playing this 2nd turn vs the organizer, which makes everything a little weird :lol:

@Bert: just kiddin': I know you'd respond promptly ;)

i asked about 0-0 because i know that 1 game from the first round wasn't played, and the result given to that matchup was a 6-0, and not a 0-0... That is why it sounded weird to me, otherwise, this desition sounds ok to me
