No TP's are awarded for bye's, so an uneven number is not relevant in terms of scores, it just mean 1 more round for the tournament.
Some people might applaude it, as it means they can be flexible about scheduling a game.
And, we'd be happy to have you on board, you're not getting off the hook that easily

Ok, pairing's done (witnessed by Treebeard and Makinal)

at first I wanted to do a 3x3 group system with an additional losers round backdoor re-entrance. But since we play 1 game a week, that would take 7 weeks.

so, we now settled on 2 groups, with first two pairs of each group going to semi-finals. Group selection did not take into account any ranking, but it did avoid pairing up same-nation teams.

Group A:
Martin (aka Peregrin) & Dominic (aka domse)
Marcos (aka marcos) & Bert (aka Ringbearer)
Tomi (aka Tomppa) & Illka (aka Trossell)
Wolfgang (aka thorondor) & Luis (aka Makinal)

Group B:
Heiner (aka Heiner) & Stefan (aka Sfan)
Jose (aka Josesan) & Manuel (aka Mados)
Bernd (aka beorn1963) & Alex (aka zirilan)
Charles (aka Mordan) & Eric (aka adanedhel)
Rafal (aka kufel) & Grzegorz (aka Gothmogg)

round 1: 7-11 to 14-11
Peregrin vs. thorondor: 0-25
domse vs. Makinal: 20-5
marcos vs. Trossell: 0-20 (forfeit)
Ringbearer vs. Tomppa: 26-23
heiner vs. beornd1963: 23-27
Sfan vs. zirilan: 7-38
Josesan vs. adanedhel: 17-33
Maados vs. Mordan: 19-14

round 2: 15-11 to 21-11
group A: finish round 1
Mordan vs. heiner: 19-28
adanedhel vs. Sfan: 38-18
Maados vs. Kufel: 22-30
Josesan vs. Gothmogg: 26-11
The Golden Age: bye

round 3: 22-11 to 29-11
Trossel vs. thorondor: 33-0
Tomppa vs. Makinal: 26-29
Ringbearer vs. Peregrin: 20-25
Marcos vs. domse: 36-6
beornd1963 vs. Josesan: 21-27
zirilan vs. Maados: 27-15
heiner vs. Kufel: 28-23
Sfan vs. Gothmogg: 26-17
Navy Sealed Wizards: bye

round 4 & 5: 5-12 to 19-12
Trossell vs. domse: 31-26
Tomppa vs. Peregrin: 33-31
Ringbearer vs. thorondor: 0-25 (forfeit)
marcos vs. Makinal: 47-5
Josesan vs. heiner: 24-34
Maados vs. Sfan: 25-30
zirilan vs. adanedhel: 25-30
beornd1963 vs. Mordan: 35-11
adanedhel vs. Kufel: 38-33
Mordan vs. Gothmogg: 33-19
zirilan vs. Kufel: 0-25 (forfeit)
beornd1964 vs. Gothmogg: 25-0 (forfeit)

due to small error in awarding bye's, Navy Sealed Wizards will have to play 2 games during round 4 (to avoid more delay). My bad.

Semi-finals: Snake Eyes vs. Navy Sealed Wizards, and The Golden Age vs. Flaneltina
Zirilan vs. Ringbearer: 0-25 (forfeit)
Beornd1963 vs. Marcos: 27-32 (2-3)
Trossell vs. Mordan: 42-20 (4-0)
Tomppa vs. Adanedhel: 29-28 (3-2)

Finals: Snake Eyes vs. The Golden Age
Trossell vs. Beornd1849 32-28
Zirilan vs, Tomppa: 31-12

Winners of FWSLC 2012: The Golden Age
runner up: Snake Eyes

MVP (highest average TP/MP per game): Trossell 17 (158) (5), average TP: 3,5, average MP: 31,6

I propose that we consider postponing the first deadline because of this http://councilofelrond.org/forum/viewto ... =20&t=1998

This goes without saying, a new date will be set.
However, I cannot set a new date until the problem is solved...

In a Fallen Tournament? Not in those colors. :)
The game is flawed, but this does not mean it cannot be loved.
