Right, there is no passive condition.

I wonder what the reasoning is for being able to roll twice. 2 = 2?

Re: The One Ring (METW Ltd) WANT
Greetings folks! Does anybody have The One Ring METW Limited edition for sale? If so please PM me or reply here. Many thanks, Seth Unfortunately it seems that this card has reached "collectible" status. This forum is a good place to ask but also try asking on the facebook group (Middle-ea...

Re: Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent in multi-player game
Unless it becomes OK because it may also affect hazard player... Then we have a concept of estimating a validity of play basing on what would be effect if some card will be eventually played. If a card's effect says that it affects your opponent's companies, then its OK. No estimation required. Tro...

Re: Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent in multi-player game
Short-events get discarded yes, but they are still "played" in some play area. Hazards are played against your opponent's companies and they are played on the opponent's play area or in the neutral zone. Muster is not played against a particular company but would have an affect against the...

Re: Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent in multi-player game
What about Trouble on All Borders? Cannot be played on own faction? Trouble on All Borders is " Playable on a unique faction in play " and the effect affects " any company ". It affects the opponent too. I don't see why it wouldn't work on your own faction with this wording even...

Re: Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent in multi-player game
Twilight can be played as a resource or a hazard but even since METW Limited it's given an exception to the rules. In the rules on Environments in the Companion its said to be "special". Twilight would not even be played in your own play area. I see no issue. But Hillmen is your MP resourc...

Re: This Forum Code of Conduct
after our first meeting as new CoE, it was realised that the CoE forum did not really have a Code of Conduct providing basic guideline for posting content on this forum and for interacting with its members. It's right here: https://councilofelrond.org/forum/ucp.php?mode=terms. There is a link to it...

Re: Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent in multi-player game
What about Muster Disperses on own faction? What about Twilight as hazard on own resource card? Is a playing Muster Disperses against any company; is a faction an entity associated with company? No. Possible. No; no. "You may not play your hazards on your side of the playing surface." Reg...

Re: Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent in multi-player game
My previous post is unclear. Player plays the card on its own stored item. His MP pile is not "opponent's marshalling point pile". He has multiple opponents. And I forgot to ask: to hand of which opponent the item is returned? You can't play a targeted hazard on your own resource in your ...

Re: DCCD - Avatarless - Hero - The Land Reborn
I added this deck to CardNum since I hadn't tried the quest in a while. I think it's pretty iconic for the Northern Waste book. When I did that I noticed that some cards didn't copy correctly due to the set in parenthesis being off. And I posted about it here but now I don't see my post. Anyway, I t...

Re: Sack Over the Head and character MPs
It is not explicable for me why Taking Prisoners rules say that imprisoning character must discard any items, allies, or events he controls except rings if discarding controlled cards would be general rule for card placed "off to the side". Just to make exception for the ring items? Often...

Re: Arda Co-op?
For hand size, I was considering just 5 only from the play deck with the only mp cards available being the ones in the buy row. The idea would be the players would work together to prioritize mp plays cooperatively. Although I suppose that might be too limiting? I would have more cards, maybe 10. T...

Re: Arda Co-op?
A few comments. PLAYING HAZARDS My main suggestion would be for you to act as the hazard player for everyone rather than revealing cards and letting everyone decide. The thoughtfulness (meanness) of hazard play is what brings out a lot of interesting decisions during play, which is fun. This is your...
