Re: Imprisoned RW vs. Rescuers
Imprisoning and later rescuing RW follower is in such relation to the rule: When your revealed Ringwraith leaves play without being eliminated, you have until the end of your next organization phase to bring your Ringwraith back into play and use him to re-control any Ringwraith followers. Otherwise...

Re: Imprisoned RW vs. Rescuers
With such loose conditions many possible rulings would by OK. I see them as creative work. I'm trying to avoid creation so much as possible. This time I have ended with conclusion that in current state rules does not allow to rescue Wizard, without breaking them. I do not have a right to tell someon...

Re: Imprisoned RW vs. Rescuers
If ruling would say: "Read all characters taken prisoner under the hazard host immediately join the company under general influence as all characters taken prisoner under the hazard host immediately join the company under general influence (if aplicable) " it would be used as precedence by...

Re: No Better Use and No Site
There's another problematic spot too, let's say my agent is using the site card I need to recover, now what? Use equivalent. Brutal mode is OK too, because it penalize player that is unable to provide site required by HIM (in contrast to WH rules that put responsibility for providing site required ...

Re: Imprisoned RW vs. Rescuers
If quoted DM rule will not be revised, then in its current state there is no way for successful rescuing Ringwraith. Imprisoned RW follower is in state where he is not controlled by RW. Ringwraith or Wizard is not controlled by GI, but if rescued must by placed under GI. Either: revise/modify rules,...

Re: Imprisoned RW vs. Rescuers
Strictly speaking it prevent even Wizard from being rescued.
And now this is a valid reason for revision of this rule.
This render all I said before in this topic useless.

Re: Imprisoned RW vs. Rescuers
Not having a mind does not prevent them from consuming DI of controlling Ringwraith. He, he.. Imprisoned Ringwraith follower could not be freed (by facing rescue-attack) even by Ringwraith, because: Following the rescue-attack, an untapped character in the rescuing company can tap, and all character...

Re: Imprisoned RW vs. Rescuers
Because it breaks rule:
...or it should be rather "may not be under general influence", then I jam out.A Ringwraith follower must always be under the control of your Ringwraith and may move to non-Darkhaven sites with your Ringwraith.

Re: No Better Use and No Site
I think that such situations requires errata. Because any exact solution will be brand new concept. One of possible solution is concept of proxies - site cards (or equivalents) inverted by 180 degrees on table* (wounded sites) used only to indicate position of company. There should be penalties for ...

Re: Imprisoned RW vs. Rescuers
Yes.
He has a limitation similar to limitation of ally. And rule that says that ally cannot be imprisoned did not come along the concept of imprisoning attacks.
It was introduced later, whe ICE realised that there is an issue.
I think that it is the same logic in both situations. Nothing brand new.

Re: Imprisoned RW vs. Rescuers
Rule quoted by you applies to the situation when controller leaves active play, but follower no. Imprisoning FW follower is not such situation. Rules says that RW follower must always be under control of RW, like ally. For ally it is explicity stated that ally cannot be imprisoned, for RW follower n...

Re: Half-Orc company type by example
Well, ICE was very reluctant to admit its errors. It prefer to say "read X as Y", or "Z is working even if technically it does not have a right to be working" (see entries for Baduila, or Deeper Shadow). Nevertheless: if two statements are partially contradicting each in other, t...

Re: No Better Use and No Site
Whatever will be ruled it should be consistent for whole class of situations where necessary host is not available (rescuing imprisoned characters does not count becasuse host is in play and may be used even if its copy is not present in LD). Situations of such class include: No Better Use, Sack Ove...

Re: Minion Items with Armory
As a Fallen-wizard, no. As a Hero player you can, but they will not help to gain the marshalling point from Armory. As I understand the rule: "hero(minion) resource event may not target/affect minion(hero) resource, or site" only applies to FW player. If so the whole thing is simple. A co...
