Evidently there is reason to believe that some resources may only be playable by certain characters.
Yes. But not in the game in which the terms "playable" and "may be played" are separate.

Re: In the Name of Mordor

I think that yes. Even if not represented by a card, long-event is still long-event. It is not possible to perform action "discard" on it but "cancel" may be performed. I do not think that the actions are tied, i.e. actions that may be performed only in conjunction one with other. Similarly Against ...

Re: Glove of Radagast

Thanks CDavis7M for putting attention on awkwardness of phrase "is considered playable with Radagast at his site.". Resource is either playable at site or not. Which site is the site where the resource is playable may be defined by site type, presence of some character, site's name etc. But literall...

Re: Helm of Her Secrecy

Any person who proposes an errata dare to have a better understanding of given issue that understanding of designer. So yes. I think that I would design the Helm of Her Secrecy better than ICE. Active Conditions stuff provides objective criteria that regulate when an action may be declared and when ...

Re: Helm of Her Secrecy

It may make a sense to compare Helm of Her Secrecy with Hour of Need and Come at Need. Helm of Her Secrecy does not force to play Éowyn. 3. The card has a potential effect on play that could be triggered later (e.g., the second use of Dragon's Desolation). Helm of Her Secrecy has such effect- placin...

Re: Helm of Her Secrecy

It is possible to play multiple copies of Cloudless Day and have them in play, even if their effects do not cumulate, by their nature. Values printed on border and in corner of a copy of Helm of Her Secrecy not resulting in playing of Éowyn could have no meaning, could be applicable to target compan...

Re: Helm of Her Secrecy

"Permanently" does not mean "infinitely" . Effect of Alliance of Free Peoples is permanent but disappears when the card leaves active play.
According the errata proposal the Éowyn gains +2 prowess, +1 body, and +1 direct influence until end of turn. So not permanently.

Re: Helm of Her Secrecy

Thanks CDavis7M for putting the attention on how inconsistently some values printed on card are used. They are reminders, but sometimes it is unclear what they actually should remind. Helm of Her Secrecy, until placed on Éowyn, is on company. Without text that describes what the values actually pres...

Re: Helm of Her Secrecy

When I Know Anything gives one CP and it is not reflected in text of the card (or does it not give CP and the value in corner just reminds... what?).

Re: Helm of Her Secrecy

"if enough influence is available to control her." would be playabilty condition (active condition). It is part of main effect. Check for absence of " Beorn or an untapped warrior with prowess greater than 4" is not playability condition of Beorning Skin-changers." is part of main effect of Beornin...

The White Hand: Will You Not Come Down? U3 Hazard: Permanent-event Playable on a Fallen-wizard at a Wizardhaven [W]. Re: Agent site types

Agents may not move to any version of a hero Haven, unless they have a special ability allowing them to. Only Elven agents can move to a site that is a Wizardhaven. Whenever a hazard affecting minions refers to a Haven, interpret it as referring to a Darkhaven instead. A rule is not a hazard, so ag...

Re: Helm of Her Secrecy

I must admit that the errata is not needed at all if not possibility of placing multiple copies of Helm of her Secrecy on Éowyn. If multiple copies of Helm of Her Secrecy are placed on her then bonuses from all copies except the last resolved do not correlate with bonuses that she received after bei...

Re: Helm of her Secrecy

OK.
As I understand, Helm of her Secrecy would stay on company, would never be placed on Éowyn and Éowyn still would receive the bonuses. Until Helm of her Secrecy would leave active play.
