Re: Computer illiterate with a Mac needs help

I've come up with a Plan C now. There is a Mac user group that meets in my city once a month. I'm going to take my computer there and hopefully someone can walk me through the installation there. Wish me luck, I'd love to start playing again.

Re: MECCG on YouTube

I have been enjoying the videos enormously! And I'm learning so much about playing Fallen Wizard and Bolrog decks. Would someone consider posting links to these videos on boardgamegeek.com? It is a very popular site and I know the MECCG fans there would love to watch these videos as much as I do.

Re: California Players

Sorry I missed the weekend-long event.
Well, my newly painted front and back porches look nice anyhow and my wife is happier for it.
ConQuest Sacramento was so successful they are going to have another con in November.
Perhaps then?

Re: Merchandising / Stuff about MECCG - List with photos

Anyone know where I can find an English translation for the following German cards:
Ringil
Horn Der Herausforderung
Belegennon
Wolf
Baugur
I'd like to try playing with these cards if I can figure them out.

MECCG on YouTube

Hello all, I happened to type MECCG into You Tube and found almost two handfuls of recorded games from GCCG tournaments! This is super-duper cool. I first tried watching the games and found that they were moving too fast for me to understand. Eventually I figured out that I can either pause the vide...

Computer illiterate with a Mac needs help

Hello everyone, Three computers ago (in other words about 15 years ago), I used to have GCCG and I used to play with my friend. It was fun. Now I have a Mac and I'm completely computer stupid. I look at the directions to load GCCG on my Mac and I run into two problems. 1) The instructions say go her...

Re: California Players

The last time I played GCCG was three computers ago. I've also since switched to Apple and have yet to try and figure it out.

Re: California Players

Here's a quick summary of our little event. Four people showed up, Me, Ben, Gene and Larry. We each took a hero challenge deck and proceeded to play round-robin style. I had Alatar (Release the Prisoners). My first game was against Larry and (Bargain Between Friends). We both drew the worst possible...

Re: California Players

Kjeld, Sorry you are missing out on this one. Maybe another time. So here is an example of the matrix fill in during this event. As I've stated before I'm trying to play every challenge deck against the other nine decks to determine who is the best in tournament play. I've completed the matrix for o...

Re: California Players

I'm glad we are playing Challenge Decks because I've spent the last few years playing them and trying to fill in the blanks on a massive round robin tournament between all 10 challenge decks. I'm trying to get a record of how each deck did against every other deck. I'll bring my log along and perhap...

Re: California Players

We are officially on the program for ConQuest Sac on April 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. That might give us enough time for a round or two. We can then take it to the open gaming area if we have enough people and interest in continued play. I will bring my set of the challenge decks. I might also bring ...

Re: California Players

Red Arrow and all,
I'm going to go ahead and see what I can do to make this a registered event at the ConQuest Sacramento. I'm going to shoot for a time slot on Saturday. We will also be able to play at other times, but it would be good to get on the program as well.

Re: Introduce yourself

Hello, My name is Ralph. I've played this game from the start. I still love it and consider it decades before its time. With the current boardgame craze, I show this game to player and they are amazed. It is a boardgame in card game clothing. And its a solid game all around. I wish I could find one ...
