Hi Wolfgang,
Which kind of face masks are mandatory ?
For example FFP2 masks have never been mandatory in France, whereas there were/are in some cases in Germany or Austria.
I didn't found the informations on official websites.
Mask
FFP2 masks seems to be mandatory in german trains.
Recommendation to wear an FFP2 mask
Travellers must comply with mandatory requirements in line with German government regulations ("emergency break") and various state laws. DB recommends that passengers wear FFP2 masks so they can comply with public health requirements when travelling on trains and waiting at station platforms. The rules applicable in individual states can be found on the website of the federal government.

During the weekend we need to wear a mask only when waiting for food in the queue and in the area around the reception (when in contact with the staff members). No need for an FFP2 mask, a simple medical mask is fine.
