The Necromancer set is really coming together, with 225 cards and a 500 card playset. Sadly, it cannot be finalized before Lure XVII, but there is a positive side, we can playtest MENE at the DC General Opponent at Lure XVII. So, cards from The Necromancer will be allowed!

Any version as current as Christmas 2016 is allowed. We aim not to change anything the coming months. So, update your core and metw folders!

nb. to not disturb the ongoing gccg tournament, a temporary set is added at the end, called Necromancer Missions, which contains (you've guessed it) new mission cards. Dont forget about these.

DCGO Lure XVII specifics:
- all dreamcard rules and UEP are in effect (see the DC General Rules)
- cards from standard sets + DCFF (Firstborn & Durin's Folk) + The Necromancer are allowed
- all promo's are allowed, except for the Lure promo (sorry, we got 1 DCGO per year...)
- please bring good (readable) proxies/ print-outs.

also feel free to announce your participation in the tournament below.

I am in! By the way, have You published a list of Necromancer resource cards not playable by Lords?

As MENE is after DCFF, we would be silly to make such a list ;-)
Keeping DC rules in mind (e.g. non-over allies), none should be forbidden to Lords. If they're not for FW, they will have 'minion only', 'sauron only', or 'black player only', etc.

By the way, the gccg or MSE versions are good enough (for better quality export mse files at 500%),
but if anybody wants better MENE printfiles for their deck, just send me a pm and I'll mail them.

Sadly I can't attend DCGO this year, because I'll arrive late Friday evening.

Too bad Franck, we're always looking forward to see your new creative decks.

Of course, anybody can still join the DCGO in the 2nd round, after dinner, around 20.30. You probably won't win the tournament (though Charles last year came very close) with 1 less game, but it's good fun.

Big challenge indeed ... but I'll come around 23.00.
The reason is because I'll come with brother, who finally can't miss training Friday.

Once the set is finished, some form of publication will be done yes, does that answer the question? :-)

I'd be in for a set as well! Loved the FF sets. Have any others been printed while I was not watching?

Don't worry, we're not as fast as ICE producing a set every year, we like to actually play test new cards

If/when it happens everybody will get an email, but it doesn't hurt to have a looksie here once in a while.

Hello,
Sauron/The Lidless Eye decks can only be played vs Wizard decks.
But if I play a Necromancer deck, can I play vs a minion deck ?
