You're playing Minion with a Company of 4, and you "Pass the Doors of Dol Guldur" turn one only to find:

DEAD turn 1, welcome to Dreamcards...

This is presented as Combo of the Week Issue #001...

3x Chill Them with Fear
3x Dwaven Warparty
3x Black Crows

5@13/5 twice!! Just for walking out your front door!?!

(Radagast + Elf-lord, on Sterioids!)

I just think the "and also to the regions containing such a site", that the two Havens should get their "Cancel Attack" clause in effect also.
Because my no means would that make these cards unplayable, you might pack 2 instead of 3, but they would be devastating at Moria, Goblin-gate, and Gundabad, and certain Dragon's Lairs... so, I mean a yeah...

Laters...

I mean think about this, does Lorien or Rivendell even come close to having a walk out the front door:

BLAM Nazgûl on a Fell Beast = 2 strikes@13/10?

a no...I mean even getting a Fell Beast with a Nazgûl is like a Dream Play for some of us...

This is the basis of my reasoning.

One time when I was kinda drunk, well not really, but I was in a stupor, I was playing someone, and I was using my custom map, that has Free-hold Symbols for Lorien & Rivendell (etc haven), and Dark-hold Symbols for Carn Dûm & Dol Guldur etc, instead of a (Dark)Haven Symbol, so that the Map would be universal, meaning we know havens are havens, ok?

Well the Hero player went to Lorien turn 1, and I SAID I am going to play an Assassin, kinda drunk, like I said hehe. He was like what do you mean? I said Lorien is Free-hold. He was like it's not a Free-hold, it's a Haven!! I said look at the map, it's gotta Free-hold Symbol, which then I was oh wait DUH I did that.

So my reasoning is the SAME for Carn Dûm and Dol Guldur, they "kinda are Dwarf-holds" but for the purposes of when Minions are playing they ARE HAVENS, not Dwarf-holds for Minons, not even Dark-holds for Minions.

Geesh ridiculous! NO ERRATTA needed just understand what's going on there!! Lorien is not a Free-Hold for Hero's!!!

You're just going to Destroy a "Fully Operational" Dol Guldur with a 2-card combo...

so you just forgot to mention that it will be detainment!

also is that more wicked than an Chilled Elf-lord vs any company moving out of Minas Morgul in the standart game?

3 @ 17 (or 21 vs Ringwraiths) and add a Uvatha or Mouth to it and you have the same thing

I doubt it

hehe

I still dont understand why you say it is detainment?

Also detainment if keyed to Gundabad as everything keyed to [-me_dd-] is detainment, you make it sound far worse than it is ;)

it is not worse than running into 2 Ahunts, everything one cannot cancel or beat up is worse, you just have to come prepared

so DC vs standart game is never even, but would you prefer to face 3x River on the same turn stay with standart, but do not drag DC into the mud ;)

to deal with DC detainment there is may favorite way to deal with them for covert companies:

But I did want to say that you are totally right, when it come to being prepared or not against NEW CARDS.

Thanks, I am not mad btw, I was just shocked and slammed! :P That's why it's COMBO of the Week! It's good, it's fine...

This is not really a "combo" and it didn't happen this week. But I did save a fun screenshot from Cardnum near/at the end of a game. I had a thematic The Hobbit deck with Gandalf, Bilbo, Thorin and Co. headed to the Lonely Mountain and the Withered Heath area. The game was slow to start because my hand was clogged (but so was my opponents). At some point, I had a lot of cards lined up for Old Thrush + Sacrifice of Form to defeat Daelomin for the King Under the Mountain & Returned Exiles combo. I even had Glamdring to play on the same turn (with Legendary Hoard) for a total of 12 MP - 2MP for Balin being discarded due to Sacrifice of Form. My opponent was gracious of my ignorance of SoF's effects and let me keep Bilbo in play under GI.
