MECCG GCCG WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008

TIME

Sat November 15th 2008, 16:00GMT
* Registration
Sat November 15th 2008, 17:00GMT
* First session

Sun November 16th 2008, 14:00GMT
* Second session

FORMAT

Standard Swiss Rounds based on the number of participants.
Distribution of rounds between days are voted during the first day.

PRIZES

One random Virtual Set 1 card for each round finished for every
player. In addition:

1st. One of each V1 cards.
One Official Championship Beer, whenever we meet.
Nice info line on your Gccg-account.
2nd. 50 random V1 cards.
3rd. 25 random V1 cards.
4th. 12 random V1 cards.

I will probably not have time to participate, but let's ask anyway: What sets and rules are being used?

Specifically: are virtual cards used and are the german promo's used, since these are the most balanced cards outside the normal sets.

Gccg-championships have always followed the official standard 2-deck rules used in the normal world championships. Thanks for reminding anyway. I'll update my announcement template for the next year to be more precise.

I still don't know if I'll be able to partcipate or not :( There are certain gigs still waiting to be confirmed on that weeked, so we'll see...

Btw, "normal world championships rules" means that the german promos are not allowed, right?

Those are only legal in German National championships, not worlds ;)
