Hello everyone,

I stumbled upon a shoebox full of cards.
I remember that, when I was a kid, I enjoyed watching the cool drawings and art on them... but I never played the actual game and just collected the cards because I was, and still am, a big fan of Tolkien's.
Well... now I'm thinking these cards could interest "real" players like you.
So, here's the deal: if you're looking for cards in particular, send me the names of the cards and I'll look in my box to see if I have them.
I can mail them to you if you pay the postage and/or whatever price seems fair to you (if you think they are rare or uncommon).
I am not here to make money, just to make you happy (if I can!). ;-)
99% of the cards are in beautiful condition.
Some are in French (30%).
Just keep in mind that I know nothing about the game itself or the "varieties" of cards so please be indulgent. :-D

Cheers,

John

Hi John, thanks for your kind offer. You'll find that many players here have most of the non-rare cards. A list of rares would be helpful. They are listed here: https://councilofelrond.org/set-lists/. Of course, that would take more of your time... My guess if that people would be most interested in the harder to find sets: Balrog > Against the Shadow > Lidless Eye > Wizards > Dark Minions > White Hand > Dragons (estimate).

Also, you may find better reception over on the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/6301243471/. There are many more casual players there.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
I'm going to have fun going through all my cards with these lists!
I'll let you know if I find anything interesting. ;-)

They are beautiful cards to look at aren't they :)

Where are you located? It may be helpful to get them in players' hands if shipping could be avoided, esp if they are mostly non-rare, which is likely...

I started sorting out my cards yesterday and already found a dozen "R" and "U" cards. I still need a couple of hours to go through all of them. It's really fun! :-)
I live in France, near Paris. So I guess I'll just give the non-rare ones to players in the area, hand to hand.
I'll post a complete list of my Rs ans Us here, asap.

well, we of the DC Group could always use cards to build our DC challenge decks with, we got 34 decks built, but want to expand that, to build the other 6 decks we created so far

I agree with Nicolai.
Their decks are very handy for our events. At least we would be sure that your cards see some playing.

Some of us live in France so maybe we could take the cards to Nicolai.

Where exactly do you live?
