DC card Bow of Calin Wip
My apologies if this is supposed to be asked in the DC card section of the forum, and I can move the question there if need be. For those not familiar with the card, here it is .https://cardnum.net/img/cards/MECA/meca_bowofcalinwip.jpg My question is concerned with its usage. It says to make two rol...

Re: Some basic Fallen Wizard deck questions
Sorry to revive an old thread, but I had a related FW deck building question. As a fallen wizard, I may include only 2 of non-unique a hero resource card, or likewise 2 of a non-unique minion resource card. Does it matter if those cards are functionally identical? Can I for instance, include 2x Conc...

Re: Buhr Widu.
Very logical, and obvious in hindsight. Thanks for the heads up.

Buhr Widu.
The hero version of the site says it returns to the location deck, not the discard pile. Say I go there, play an item, tap the site, leave. The site goes to the location pile. I then draw another major item and want to go back. If I return, is the site still tapped? Or is there no "memory"...

Re: Introduce yourself
Thought I'd introduce myself here since I started hanging about again. My name's Adam, I'm from New Jersey. I got into the game years ago, in the late 90s, becuase I was on a MTG kick and one of my magic buddies introduced me to it. Fell in love with the game's complexity and depth, but I always had...

Re: Helm of her Secrecy
Very clear and concise. Thank you for laying it out so sharply. I have to admit, in my own case, it's hard to get the rules to really "stick" in absence of people to play against. I mostly just read things and theorycraft, you know?

Re: Helm of her Secrecy
Sorry to threadjack, and if it's a problem I'll break this off and make a separate thread, but I had a question of my own on the Helm of Her Secrecy card. If there's a company to company combat with a minion company, my understanding is that you can play it if the minion company attacks the hero com...

Question about keying to specific regions.
Hypothetical case: Party containing a character with an Elven Cloak moves to Woodman Town, in Western Mirkwood. There are no effects in play that alter the region status of Western Mirkwood, it is a wilderness. Opposing player plays Adunaphel keyed to the Western Mirkwood region as a creature, which...

Re: Mines of Moria
After many years of meaning to try this scenario, under a loss to do with COVID related stuff, I finally gave a crack at it. I did not find it particularly difficult, going through three play attempts with only one wounded fellowship member between them, scoring 10, 11, and 12 points respectively. I...

Guarding the Shire.
This first post is going to be a preliminary set of rules. I came up with this idea on a whim, and spent a bit of the afternoon looking around at other solitaire scenarios and stuff to try to at least get a first draft going. Note that this is a first draft. I have done absolutely zero playtesting o...

Well thank you very much for the quick and clear reply. I had figured user error was the source of it.

Interaction of Fog and Morgul Night
My apologies if this has been asked somewhere else. I gave a cursory search of the site before asking, but didn't find anything, but that was admittedly a cursory search. Anyway, my brother and I went back to our parents house to visit for Thanksgiving and help get things ready the weekend before ev...
