what's the status of gccg?

Hello, I've been away from gccg since the spring server crash and I am wondering what's up with gccg. I've connected to the "old" Rich B. server and modified my metw.bat file to connect to the akustiko.fi server. No tables are available and no players are present either. Am I missing somet...

Have you considered posting negative feedback at ebay?

I'm having trouble reaching my opponent. My emails to him are getting bounced cause his inbox is "full".

Do any Finnish players have a way to page Teemu? I'd like to schedule the game so we can finish on time.

Here’s my overview of Worlds 2007: Thursday- I arrived in the afternoon, checked out the venue and headed back to the hotel to learn the Lord of the Rings (Fantasy Flight) boardgame. Friday- Played Lord of the Rings Boardgame and played in the hero-only one deck. I tried a dunk deck and was narrowly...

So if Thorin controls a Noble Hound and lucky searches for Wormsbane, he gets to keep the sword regardless of the outcome of the hound vs. lucky search attack?

I cast the lone dissent. I spoke with Mark about this privately recently. The reasons I disagreed were: 1. I do not support UEP's. You already know this. I can't accept various "unofficial" changes to the game that serve (IMO) to pander to pet likes and dislikes that additionally are "...

Brian, I am a jerk, not because I forgot you are in Atlanta now, but for many other reasons. Brian (Wong) is nice, Brian (Sauron) is mean. Hopefully, we'll get matched up at some point. It's been quite a while since we've played. BTW, I've had some questions about how qualifiers will be ha...

It'll be great if Brian Wong shows up. Nice guy.

I've talked to the "Southrons" and as things stand now, 3 people will be coming up for Worlds (Kenyon, Carney and one of the Atlanta group).

Although I haven't been on GCCG in ages, I agree with "sauron". If players agree to a set start time and game time limit, those parameters should be adhered to. If I'm playing another player at a certain time, it is likely that the other player set aside said block of time from his busy sc...

Thank you, Mark for posting my draft article of sealed deck tips. I have triple checked the document and made some minor edits to reduce repetitive adjectives, etc. If the rest like the draft you posted, I can email you the "updated" version whenever you like. Thanks

Slightly off-topic, would anyone support the idea of round-robin article writing for such a newsletter? That way, it would spur on laggards (me  ) and would serve to get everyone involved to come up with some "interesting" stuff (in depth card/deck discussion, tournament reports, ide...

I haven't been on gccg in ages, and I only observed parts of the "first" gccg tournament, so perhaps some of my info is dated. Here are some thoughts on gccg "qualifying" events: -an available judge(s) is essential; -per Joe, a reasonable time/turn limit is needed; -other reasona...
